Dear Parents/Guardians,
Given the unusual circumstances of this year with Covid 19 to facilitate parents/guardians not having to queue in book shops, to get the benefits of a bulk buy discount, we have opted to purchase everything your child will need for September in bulk.
This will also facilitate the way the school will operate in September to follow Covid good practice to keep both staff and families safe. No other books other than those supplied by the school will be permitted to be used on school premises.
All school textbooks, workbooks, copybooks, pens, pencils, display folders etc will be included. Everything will be ready in an individual pack for your child when they return or start school in the autumn.
The cost per child will be:
Junior Infants and Senior Infants €50 per child
1st and 2nd class €60 per child
3rd and 4th class €80 per child
5th and 6th class €90 per child
This cost is a substantial discount to the total cost of any individual book list and is being subsidised by the school.
All fees will be collected in September on return to school.
The usual payment of €30 per child for Pupil Personal Accidentental 24-Hour Cover, Homework Journal and Photocopying etc. for the year 2020/21 will also be collected in September by the Class Teacher.
